Penny Jameson is a psychologist in private practice at the Utah Institute for Psychotherapy and Training. Her work is with children, adults, and couples. She is on the faculty of IPI-SLC, adjunct faculty in the Psychology Department, and clinical faculty in the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine at the University of Utah. Her first career was as a professor at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, specializing in Developmental Psychology. She then retrained as a clinical psychologist and completed the two-year training program in Object Relations Theory and Therapy through the International Psychotherapy Institute.
Research interests include women's narratives, attachment issues between depressed mothers and their infants, and most recently, men and women's adjustment to pregnancy. Applied interests have focused on development of a variety of educational programs.
